Located in Celina, Texas, The Punk Carter Ranch is owned by Hall of Fame Cutting Horse Legend Punk Carter, a world-renowned cutting trainer and past president of the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA). Punk Carter provides cutting horse training, cutting clinics, lessons and instruction to cutting enthusiasts as well as cutter of all levels including Amateur, Non-Pro, and Open.
Training Program
The Punk Carter Ranch provides comfortable, western-style cutting facilities to make your cutting training experience enjoyable. The Punk Carter Ranch training program features personal or group training. You can bring your own horse, and lodging is available for both you and your horse. Private clinics are available to allow you to be trained at your own place. Cattle works and cutting instruction are also available by appointment for the duration of your stay. The ranch can also help you find the right cutting horse for you.
About the Legendary Punk Carter
Punk Carter has established his name in the cutting industry with his mastery of breeding, training, and showing world-class cutting horses for over 40 years. Carter currently serves in the NCHA Executive Committee; he has been the elected NCHA Director for more than 20 years; and he has also become an honorary lifetime Vice President of NCHA. During the NCHA Futurity in December 2002, Punk Carter was inducted into the NCHA Members’ Hall of Fame.
The sport of cutting has also been a family sport for the Carters; Punk’s father and brother are successful 4A judges and cutting horse trainers. Punk Carter’s three daughters have learned to love the sport, too; all three ladies made it to the NCHA Youth Top 10. Punk’s daughter Cassye became a NCHA World Champion at age 9.
