The Happy Valley Ranch is an animal ranch that breeds, raises, shows, and sells cutting Quarter Horses as well as American Red Brahman cattle. Located in Hallsville, Texas, the Happy Valley Ranch is owned by Rick and Deby Reeves. The Happy Valley Ranch prides itself in producing champion bulls, including the Reserve International Champion Red Brahman Female and the Champion Red Brahman Bull; and showing top-performing cutting Quarter horses that produced NCHA Cutting Finalists and Champions.
The Happy Valley Ranch Story
The Happy Valley Ranch has been breeding and raising quality cattle and cutting horses for over 30 years. In 1975, the ranch started breeding Brahman cattle and by 1979, they had their first production sale. In the early ‘80s, the ranch started showing cattle and since then, the ranch has produced a large number of victories in various events.
The Champion Horses and Offspring of Happy Valley Ranch
Rick and Deby Reeves not only raise premium cattle, but great cutting Quarter horses as well. Happy Valley Ranch’s cutting Quarter horses come from proven bloodlines. The ranch features foals, broodmares and cutting prospects for sale. For example, Clarks Barones is a chestnut colt from sire Smooth As a Cat and dam Clarks Barones, both NCHA money earners and producers. Broodmares in Happy Valley Ranch include Miss Peponita Lynx, a proven NCHA champion producer; Clarks Barones 1987 Chestnut, an NCHA and ACHA money earner and NCHA producer; Miss Ringtail Tooter; and Lenas Child Reo.
The ranch also has impressive cutting prospects, including Mr. Chula Clark, offspring of dam Clarks Barones and sire Chula Dual, a producer with a Lifetime Total Earnings of over $170,000; and My Socks Be Miss N, the offspring of Miss Peponita Lynx.
